Maxine Sun

Maxine is a PhD student in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on experimental medicine. She previously joined our research group in 2018, and subsequently obtained her Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Montreal under the supervision of Dr. Marie-Pierre Dubé. Prior to that, she worked as a health service research scientist in urologic-oncologic cancers using on large datasets. Her PhD thesis will focus on the inflammatory pathways underlying cancer and cardiovascular disease. She is supervised by Dr. Marie-Pierre Dubé and Dr. Jean-Claude Tardif.
